2-way pallets can only be lifted from two sides (the front and back), while 4-way pallets can be lifted from all four sides. 4-way pallets are more versatile and easier to handle with forklifts and pallet jacks, making them the preferred choice for most warehousing operations.
QDo I need heat treated pallets for shipping?
Heat treated (HT) pallets are required for international shipping to most countries under ISPM-15 regulations. This heat treatment kills pests and prevents the spread of invasive species. We stamp all HT pallets with the required IPPC mark for customs compliance.
QWhat is the weight capacity of a standard pallet?
A standard GMA pallet has a dynamic load capacity of about 2,500 lbs (weight that can be lifted by a forklift) and a static load capacity of about 2,800 lbs (weight when stacked/stored). Block pallets can handle heavier loads. Always check specific ratings for your application.
QHow many pallets can fit on a truck?
A standard 53-foot trailer can hold 26-30 standard pallets (48x40) single-stacked on the floor, or 52-60 pallets double-stacked. A 20-foot container holds 10-11 pallets and a 40-foot container holds 20-22 pallets.
QCan broken pallets be repaired?
